I originally put together this video montage of sorts to serve as part of yesterday’s Pet Blogger Challenge. Once I actually got to answering all of the questions I realized the post was big enough and the video would get lost in the mix. The amount of work I put into editing the dang thing makes it deserve a post of it’s own.
I like to think so, anyway.
If you remember, I declared 2012 to be my official Year of Zoomery. Essentially, this meant I was dedicating my year to saying yes to adventure and trying new things – going for it despite my misgivings. I don’t know if I was as brave as I wanted to be; it wasn’t a year without some regret. I certainly tried to put myself out there more than ever before. Heck, there was even a moment I was literally out there, hanging from the tree tops at OnTree Park. My Life List received quite a few check marks last year and I’ve decided I am proud of myself.
To celebrate and look back at all the laughs, and tears, of 2012, I put together a video of some of my favourite photos from last year. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for taking the journey with me. It might sound trite but I am sincere when I say that I couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you.

Love that snowman!!!! The whole video was great in general – but I love it when people think outside the box and create a slightly weird snowman instead of a regular one!

The video is too big and a good quarter of the right hand side is lost in your right hand side of your blog (if that makes sense). Must be something to do with my settings, as no one else seems to have any problems.
Scrub that last comment. I have been able to get to the video a different way. Really lovely, have you put it on YouTube?
Most enjoyable. Thanks for spending the time to make this. I especially liked the cat who didn’t seem interested in zooming at all.

Hi Kristine, those were great photos but where’s the famous video of you and Shiva doing a 360 roll? We thought that was cool – lots of time and work went into that one. We were glad to have been part of your 2012 Year of Zoomery.

Oh Kristine!! I LOVED this video! It made me smile the whole way through. Shiva just gets cuter every year doesn’t she? And, seeing your smile in so many of the photos was great. It shows how proud you are of what you did last year. I am so proud to know you.
Congratulations on a great year and a wonderful video. May 2013 bring more smiles, laughter and adventure. (I’m going back to watch this again. It totally made my day.)

I’m glad you saved it for today, because that gave me time to savor the images. I love the one with the bow on top, and in the boat. I also love the one of you working on the computer with your friends around you. That is the best way to work. I hope your 2013 is off to a good start. So far I’ve spent mine sick.
