Tuesday Time-out

This doesn’t really count as snow.

Nope, definitely not. Can’t even roll in it properly.

This looks a lot more like frost.

This running would be a lot more fun if there was snow on the ground.

Still no white stuff here in Nova Scotia-land. Just a universe worth of rain. I’m beginning to think winter skipped us and turned right into spring. Could we be that lucky?

  1. I was beginning to worry that Honey didn’t like snow. She responded to the little bit of nothing just like Shiva.

When we finally got 10 mile outside of town where they managed to build up 10 inches, we got to see her in action.

I think Shiva and Honey just know that some “snow” isn’t worth bothering with.

Hope you get enough for a white Christmas!

  2. I’ll trade you! We have snow aplenty in Ohio and it’s -2 with the wind chill. I would like to know what is going on.

I am not happy about it.

On the other hand, my dogs LOVE it and Mak likes to have snow kicked in his face which is convenient for me (and totally does not make me an animal abuser). he gets all giddy when I fluff some snow his way and runs in circles while Chai stands there barking because she’s relatively useless in a lot of situations, but oh, so cute.

  3. Hi, Kristine. Thanx for your comment on my site. I’m sure you’ll get those snow pics very soon. In the meantime, Shiva’s adorable – as usual! Love your blog! Happy Holidays!

  4. Isn’t the weather just ker-azy? We haven’t had any snow (well, just a little bit like you got) this year and normally we woulda had a total of at least over a foot! But then there are people in the southern part of the country that are getting snow and they most certainly don’t want it. I don’t want a blizzard or anything (it’s NO fun to pee in a blizzard) but a little snow would be nice, i think.

  5. Hi Y’all!

Can’t believe the whole world isn’t gettin’ this frigid cold and blowin’ snow where roads are ice and snow covered and can’t be cleared ’cause it’s too cold for even the ice melter stuff to work!

    Y’all come by now,

  6. I can only hope we skip winter this year! So far the only upside is that the dogs don’t dilly dally outside in the mornings because it’s so cold! Well, except for the shepherd … this weather was made for her…
